In a Burst of Glory -- Part II
Or How Federal Reserve Bankers End Their Glory Days --
This is the scene after the calamity. The Roaches are still around, aren't they cute in their little coats with tails? Some tiny mammals will probably live on, Oh! There's a shrew and her whole brood of investment bankers. A few big fish and; oh yes there are a couple of former chairmen of the Fed in that listing old yacht and a few of their crony's.

They're all bailing merrily away along with a former Secretary of the Treasury or two and all of their minions. It looks a little crowded. Oh there went Alan overboard, well I guess that's a kinder fate than being eaten by your own kind. Oops a shark got him. Damn those pesky predator Pisces. Alan nearly made it out from under the downfall. Just a little too slow to leave the scene.
The sun will come out tomorrow, as little orphan Annie was wont to sing. Of course she had her Daddy Warbucks and a whole cast of phenotypes from the last depression to support her optimism. We only have Gentle Ben and his dancing bear brigade bailing clumsily away. And Tiny Tim at Treasury who may someday get on base with a walk but the bat will clearly never leave his shoulder.
Makes me wonder if maybe we shouldn't be nostalgic for Alan and his mentor Ayn who could end and start depressions all in her mind. I love the people who demonize Obama while defending Bush. I even more love the people who hate Alan and love Ben but will hate him tomorrow. It is good, good, good to love those who are tormenting you, isn't it?
