With Sincere Apologies to Bob Carleton and His Muse

Turning a nonsense phrase into a hallmark of this depression is dirty work but someone has to do it. If you were as old as I am you would remember that song from the golden days of radio. It was written way back in WWI, yep even before I was born. The jingle jangle notes and rhythm of the song fit what is happening in our commercial sector quite nicely if you just transpose my phrase for Mr. Carleton's.

So hearing the TV pundits punk out on why people are not buying and ask their special guest of the minute instead gets boring. Watching the endless parade of guys who are befuddled by the silence of the consumers is something short of the excitement derived from watching your neighbor in the next car over pick his nose. It is the silence of the lambs after the slaughter dimbo!!!!

Any half weaned member of our plutocracy should know that while they were stuffing their pockets the consumer was losing ground. While they were congratulating themselves on turning B.S. into gold with enormous bonuses we were losing our shirts, our houses and our jobs. What the hell do they think we have left to spend?

The tragic thing is they bought their own Kool-aid by the gallon. Their banks and other place where they put all of that money are no longer cash cows. Instead they produce what every common Bull produces; only in far greater quantities.
