Well the latest bonus boner at AIG is the last straw and no one seems to know what to do about it. I have a suggestion but it is too graphic for this day and age. The checks are already written and probably cashed. The horse has left the barn without consequences to the perpetrators of this massive crime. And those contracts oh yes we must keep contract law sacred mustn’t we?

Get a clue folks! AIG is bankrupt in every meaning of the word. In order to keep the system from failing we are propping up an expensive corpse. So use bankruptcy law to unravel this mess. Appoint a special receiver to run AIG. This is the easy way. Otherwise I think just taking the Nice Little Men who did this to all of us out and killing them slowly over a small hot fire would be the kindest solution left.

None of that means that we cannot use taxpayer’s money to cleanup this tragedy. We must clean up this mess. It was caused by unmitigated greed and unexcelled gaming of a system that will fail again. If we allow this failure to punish the perpetrators to continue the outcome is clear. The success of the criminals who sold fraudulent insurance on loans with nothing behind them will cause this to happen again.

The term moral hazard is pretty namby pamby when you are describing the devastation left behind in the wake of this monstrous evil. Nationalization is too good for the culture of disgusting greed at AIG. That is all propped up by the fantasy that only genius could have created this mess. The people who did this to our system of wealth distribution have destroyed the system. Now we have to keep paying them based on the rules of that system? PLEASE!!!!

I have seen helpless fools wrapped up in their own falsely rigid rules in life many times and marveled at their bindings. This is beyond that kind of stupidity. These bastards killed millions of people and unraveled the fabric of the world economy and all you can do is give them more money for the effort involved?

Oh, Nobody Died? Look around you! The people who are living on the edge of disaster every day just fell off the cliff. Mexico is a case in point. They are nearing civil war due to economic causes. They are one of the wealthier nations on a long list of victims weakened by this disaster. Obama and Geithner and all of their minions cannot prevent this tragedy from continuing. We have watched as this crime impoverished millions. Do not give them more money!!!!

Worldwide the numbers of deaths caused indirectly by this disaster may exceed tens of millions before it is over. We have worried about the moral hazard of people leaving their homes because they cannot pay mortgages that were part of this scam? Grow a conscience please!!!!!

When will the self appointed financial press wise guys get it? This is a major failure of our system of capitalism itself. To most of us money is not a marker in a game. Most of us live or die based on what we produce not what we destroy. Rewarding destruction was the way of the Mongols and more than a few other cultures throughout history. We theoretically have eschewed that methodology for gathering wealth. Let’s not give these barbarians more money, Please!!!!!
